The Duomo, Milano
I wanted to share some of my photographs of the rest of our Italian Trip, in Milan as I was rather enthralled by the stunning architecture, statues spires and enormity of the Duomo Cathedral.
The Milan Duomo/Cathedral is the oldest and fifth largest church in the world and took over six centuries to complete. It has the most statues than any other building in the world. The 52 columns, one for each week of the year, are divided into 5 naves which can hold up to 40'000 people. You can read more about it in here.
